HELPFUL HINTS FOR INTERVIEWS

INTERVIEW TIPS

On this page we have provided some free advice and essential tips for interviews:-

*

Dress appropriately eg smart, professional clothes for a managerial position.

* Do your research about the company beforehand.  There is a huge amount of information available on the internet. Don't be afraid to use the search engines extensively - we can recommend Google, Yahoo, MSN or any other popular search engine.
* Plan where you are going and how you are going to get there.  Aim to arrive approximately 15 - 20 minutes early and re-read your CV and the most pertinent information you have available.
* At the interview try to relax, be yourself and be positive.  Remember, you cannot change your personality overnight and you do not want to decide afterwards that you want the position when it is too late.
* Make sure you listen carefully and answer the questions asked - try to be specific and to the point.  If you are not sure what is being asked, ask for clarification.
* When you come out of the interview, spend a few minutes making notes of the most salient points for future reference.
